Linchpin is one of my favorite books because Seth Godwin tell the reader about his inner thoughts, doubts, and frailties about becoming an entrepreneur. Godwin starts off asking the ultimate question: "Are You A
Linchpin"? Godwin win defines the Linchpin concept, then lists traits of a linchpin. He allows the reader to acknowledge what is being rehearsed in his subconscious about the doubts of entrepreneurial attributes. He has a savvy way of getting into the readers head by being truthful, while at the same time shifting the mindset of the reader to note that those negative thoughts are experienced by all entrepreneurs.
Godwin continues to allow the reader to think and re-think by asking interrogative questions to help the entrepreneur realize that this is only a phase, but not one to get stuck in. This book had me laughing at myself because Godwin had the emotional insight and fears of anyone who ever thought about working for himself..
The book is a jump-starter, which gives a person courage to change her mindset and get rid of the negativity.
I recommend this book for people who want to start a business and need some courage and insight from a successful entrepreneur.
I have not received any compensation for this book. This is my personal book that I chose to review for this website.
